Here you can find details of SAVA's HCR Software and other digital solutions that are available to members of the SAVA Certification Scheme.
NES one, SAVA's HCR Software
SAVA produces web-based software for Home Inspectors that allows them to compile complete Home Condition reports, which include the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), as well as standalone EPCs. The software is intuitive and easy to use, and it includes standard phrases that can be used to quickly build descriptions of property elements and justifications of the condition ratings applied. It also provides a secure storage area for users to store and back up vital documents such as site notes and photographs.
For details of charges, please see the document on Payments and Charges.
You can find more information about NES one at www.sava.org.uk, where you can also book your place on a free workshop that demonstrates all of the software's powerful functionality.
Electronic Data Capture
Whilst NES one is currently solely web-based, a range of electronic tools are under development to facilitate the electronic capture of the data needed to write an HCR at the time of inspection. SAVA is either directly handling the development of these tools or actively working with third parties to integrate their tools into the central database.
Currently, there are two products available for use with EPCs.
The Glofiish uses mobile PC technology to enable Home Inspectors and Energy Assessors to generate EPC's with supporting site notes from data captured in the field. For more information contact eTech on 0870 066 1880 quoting reference SAVA1 or visit their website www.etech.net.
The Digipen allows you to collect data from your site notes, digitally, while on site. No need to scan your P and H forms, simply upload the digital site notes directly into your report. For more information contact Paul or Roger on 01908 672787 or send us an e-mail.
Further announcements will be made as these solutions progress, on this website and on www.sava.org.uk.
